Biography
Aholibamah was one of the wives of Esau, the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite (Genesis 36:2). She bore Esau three sons — Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah — who became chiefs (dukes) among the Edomites (Genesis 36:5, 14, 18). Her marriage to Esau is part of the record of how Esau settled in the hill country of Seir and became the father of the nation of Edom, Israel's neighbor and frequent rival.
