Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These Terms govern your use of myselahh.com, the Selah study tools, and the Bible API. By using the service you agree to them.
1. Use of the service
Selah provides Bible reading, study tools, and a developer API. You may use the service for personal, ministry, educational, and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and any plan limits that apply to API access.
2. Accounts and API keys
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or keys.
- We may suspend or revoke access for abuse, excessive load, or violation of these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape or redistribute the service in a way that competes with it or violates these Terms or applicable law.
- Submit unlawful, hateful, infringing, or harmful content through comments, questions, or other contributions.
- Use the service to send spam or to mislead others about the source of content.
4. Scripture text and content
Scripture is provided from public-domain translations (such as the KJV and WEB) and other sources we are permitted to use. Reference material — people, places, word studies, timelines, articles — is provided for study and devotional purposes. See our Disclaimer regarding accuracy and reliance.
5. Your contributions
If you submit comments, questions, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the service. You retain ownership of what you submit and are responsible for it.
6. Intellectual property
The Selah name, design, original written content, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our branding except as needed to use the service normally.
7. Third-party links and products
The service may link to third-party sites and companion products (such as Sermon Mate). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties, and their own terms and policies apply.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is free from inaccuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selah will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, and may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts with competent jurisdiction there.
