Delete My Selah Account

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Selah and sign in
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
4. Confirm by typing DELETE when prompted

Your account and data are queued for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion from the web (no app required)

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address associated with your Selah account:

• To: contact@myselahh.com
• Subject: Delete My Account
• Include: the email address you used to sign up (and your account handle, if you remember it)

We will verify your identity and confirm once deletion is complete, normally within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your login credentials and account
• Your profile (name, handle, bio, avatar, church affiliation)
• Your notes and note collections
• Your Commons posts, comments, likes, and stories
• Your reading streaks and journey stats
• Your AI credit balance and transaction history
• Your push notification token
• Quizzes/flashcards you created and your quiz attempt history, including removal from the public leaderboard
• Content you reported and users you blocked
• Any church-verification documents you submitted (ID, address, bank details), if applicable

What may be retained, and why

• Payment/giving records required for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, for the period required by law
• Content you posted publicly that other users have already copied, screenshotted, or saved outside Selah — we cannot recall those copies
• Anonymized/aggregated data that no longer identifies you
