Biography
Amram is a Levite of the family of Kohath and the father of three of the most important figures in Israel's history: Moses, Aaron, and Miriam (Exodus 6:20; Numbers 26:59). He married Jochebed, and their household became the channel through which God raised up the deliverer of Israel. Amram lived 137 years (Exodus 6:20).
