Biography

Judas — better known as Jude — is named among the brothers of Jesus (Mark 6:3). He is traditionally the author of the short Epistle of Jude, where he humbly calls himself "the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James" (Jude 1:1) rather than brother of the Lord. His letter urges believers to "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 1:3). Like James, he came to faith after the resurrection.
