And the king went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off.

Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. people and: or, people, yet

And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. a rolling: or, thistledown

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. that: Heb. of far distances

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. that: Heb. of my counsel

Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
