שָׁעָה

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: flock: Heb. sheep, or, goats

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. Let there: Heb. Let the work be heavy upon the men

They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?

Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. rest: Heb. cease

O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. images: or, sun images

Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people. weep: Heb. be bitter in weeping

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
