And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

But all their works they do for to be seen of men they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, phylacteries: pieces of parchment containing sentences of the law

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. at meat: or, together

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

And John bare record, saying I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye?1161 They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? dwellest: or, abidest

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. with: Gr. with you

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
