He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:

Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. and: or, and his covenant to make them know it

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. as: Heb. according to the height of the heaven

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. meat: Heb. prey

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. and: Heb. with

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. shall be rewarded: or, shall be in peace

He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.

Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls. the LORD, and the: Heb. the face of the LORD, etc

Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. shall follow: Heb. shall cleave after you

And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. worse: Heb. sadder sort: or, term, or, continuance?

And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. the LORD: or, JEHOVAH

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
