שִׂנְאָה

And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone. exceedingly: Heb. with great hatred greatly

Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. cruel: Heb. hatred of violence

They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation. by: or, in secret

For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them. I considered: Heb. I gave, or, set to my heart

Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
